CBAP Certification Course

If you already have substantial Business Analysis experience and are ready to formalise that experience with an internationally recognised professional certification, our CBAP certification course is designed for you.

The Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) is IIBA's certification for experienced Business Analysis professionals. Candidates need to meet IIBA's eligibility requirements, including 7,500 hours of Business Analysis work experience within the past 10 years, 35 professional development hours and two professional references. The current CBAP exam consists of 120 case-study and scenario-based multiple-choice questions and is 210 minutes long.

That is why effective CBAP preparation needs to go beyond simply reading the BABOK Guide.

What makes this CBAP course different?

Business Analysis Upskill's CBAP certification course online combines:

  • 7-week live instructor-led training

  • Classes every Saturday and Sunday

  • Approximately 3 hours per class

  • 35 Professional Development (PD) hours

  • BABOK® Guide-aligned learning

  • Practice questions and answers throughout the course

  • Case-study questions and exam-focused preparation

  • Practical examples drawn from real Business Analysis experience

  • Guidance with the CBAP application and BA Development Log

  • Course slides, quizzes and supporting resources

  • A quick revision manual covering 50 BA techniques

  • Recordings of all the sessions

The next CBAP batch runs from 31 October to 13 December 2026.

Thinking about CBAP but unsure whether you're ready? Check IIBA's current eligibility requirements before enrolling. You can also contact Business Analysis Upskill for guidance on choosing the right preparation path.

Why Choose Live Online CBAP Exam Preparation?

An online course does not have to mean learning alone from recorded videos.

With live CBAP exam preparation, you can ask questions as concepts are explained, discuss scenarios with your trainer and learn alongside other Business Analysis professionals.

It also removes the location barrier.

You can join the October–December CBAP programme from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Malaysia, the US, Canada or elsewhere, subject to the class timing being suitable for you. Business Analysis Upskill specifically offers Asia-Pacific-friendly online training and has participants from Australia and internationally.

And if you cannot attend every weekend, sessions are recorded so you can catch up.

Meet Your Trainer: Gaurav Kathuria

Your trainer can make a significant difference when you are working through a framework as extensive as BABOK.

Gaurav Kathuria, Founder and Lead Trainer at Business Analysis Upskill, is a CBAP® Certified Business Analyst, Certified ScrumMaster® and Certified Product Manager, with 26+ years of IT industry experience and 15+ years of Business Analysis experience. He has successfully worked on 24+ projects across six countries.

His teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts easier to understand and connecting BABOK theory with practical Business Analysis situations.

That is particularly relevant for CBAP candidates because experience alone does not automatically translate into exam readiness. The exam requires you to interpret case studies and scenarios and select the most appropriate answer - not simply recall definitions.

Gaurav's approach: “Great trainers don't just teach - they inspire confidence and competence in their students.”

Why Train With an IIBA Premium Training Partner?

Business Analysis Upskill has been established in Australia since 2020 and is an IIBA Premium Training Partner. Its certification programmes include ECBA, CCBA and CBAP preparation, alongside practical Business Analysis training.

You can look up Business Analysis Upskill on the IIBA Training Partner directory.

IIBA also explains that its Training Partners provide exam preparation aligned with IIBA standards, with options including live online and classroom learning.

For professionals investing significant time and money into certification, that alignment matters.

90+ Google 5-Star Reviews and Learner Feedback

Choosing a certification course is also about knowing what the learning experience is actually like.

Business Analysis Upskill has 90+ Google 5-star reviews, with learners highlighting Gaurav's ability to explain difficult BABOK concepts using practical examples and interactive discussions.

The CBAP course page also features feedback from professionals who describe the training as structured, practical and helpful for understanding complex BABOK concepts.

Business Analysis Upskill is not only a certification training provider.

The wider course catalogue includes practical and career-focused Business Analysis programmes for professionals at different stages.
